New Year


It is soon to be a new year.
New Year, new life perhaps?
I will be starting classes on January 5th and I will be working towards getting my RN :)
I am really looking forward to being in school again.
I am also going to be working towards my weight goals again.

Hello Ladies and Gentleman


It has been ten months since my last post. Many things have happened in that time. I will try to catch you up. I was pregnant for most of that time and gave birth on January 2, 2011 to a healthy baby boy, who we named Judah Hudson. My husband has switched jobs. He tried his hand at insurance sales, and found that he had no luck in it. Now he is working in the maintenance department at Rolling Rock Club. I gained back all of the weight(plus some)that I had lost before I found out that I was pregnant. So here we are again. I will not be able to use the same methods that I did on my last weight loss adventure because I am nursing my son and will be for as long as I am able or he weans. I have to take it a bit more slowly this time and am unable to use any diet aids. I have a time limit, I just have to set a weight goal. Wish me luck :-)
P.S. I missed you guys. (and that seriously is what my scale said)

Woah, Big News

Starting Weight: 229.5lbs.
Current Weight: 224.5lbs.
Weight Loss: 5lbs.
Total Weight Loss to Date:52.5lbs.
Sorry about my tardiness in posting this week. That is my weight as of Tuesday morning. So we have had some big news this week. We found out that I am pregnant. This was not planned or expected, but it is a very happy occasion. I am worried though at the same time. I am worried about not having more time with Jonas, just him and I. I am certain the Jonas will be a wonderful big brother and I cannot wait to see him in action. I am still going to be continuing my exercise regimen, I am going to be changing my diet a bit though lol. So wish me luck, I will still be posting every week and still be a fit chick, I am guessing the my weight numbers will be going up though. Anyway, wish me luck!

So, i was having a few work out issues the past couple weeks, between Easter and my new Nephew Jordan being born, I had to miss a couple (or 4) workouts. So it was a slow week for me. I am getting back into the groove of things this week and I am feeling good about it. I was getting into a pretty funky mood, I think I maybe getting addicted to exercise.

I am a bit surprised at my results this week, because I missed three workouts because of Easter. I guess running after Jonas kept me burning calories this weekend and the amazing weather.

This jogging stuff is really paying off. I am officially at my pre-Jonas weight! This is really exciting for me because just three and a half months ago I really had no hope that i would ever be at this weight again. I find myself looking forward to my jogging time through out the week. I cannot wait to challenge myself, try and push farther than the last time. I think that I am going to try and start jogging on my off days too, but I am going to try and do a route outside since it is starting to get nice. This is so exciting!

WHAT!?
I don't know what i did differently this week, but I am going to try and do it again lol. I have been jogging instead of walking. I can jog a mile and a quarter on average. I did jog a mile and a half the one day and I was very excited about that, but I haven't accomplished that again. I will though. I am still swimming after my work out, and it still feels awesome! I have been noticing that my weight seems to be distributed differently since I was pregnant. When I was at this weight before I could wear this one pair of jeans, but now they are still tight on me. Whatever, I will be getting in them sooner or later. I am pretty excited because I am almost at the 40lbs. mark. I am also almost half way to my goal! The half marathon is coming up quickly too. I am feeling a bit better about it now that I have started to jog.
